Bajura, Feb 1: A body of a deserted newborn child was found in a channel at Kolti zone on Tuesday morning.
The infant was found at Majh channel situated at Thipichaur in Kolti – 1, as indicated by police.
Local people detected the body when they were planning to clean up. Afterward, they brought the body under police observation at Kolti Primary Health Center.
Kolti Airport's security watch Inspector, Dambar Bahadur Thapa, said the police were exploring if the infant was jettisoned in the waterway by a couple after an illegal undertaking.
The body is kept at the wellbeing community for post – mortem examination. Police are yet to recognize the body and expect it was tossed in the channel on Monday night. Police presume that the individual who as far as anyone knows jettisoned the child could be an occupant of Kolti Bazaar
