2.3 million people groups visit Narayanhiti gallery

Kathmandu, Feb 5: A sum of 2.31 million people groups from various nations went to the Narayanhiti Durbar Museum so far since the previous regal royal residence was changed into the historical center in 2009.

Records uncover that 2.3 million or more sightseers from at home and abroad went to the exhibition hall since February 25, 2009- - the date Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation brought the historical center into operation.

Head of the Museum Rohit Kumar Dhungana said through and through 1.13 million everyday people and 995,549 understudies from Nepal, 130,188 guests from the SAARC nations and China while 55,224 voyagers from rest of the world went to the historical center till the second week of this January year.

In like manner, the historical center has made an aggregate of Rs 194.7 million salary from the offer of tickets to the guests.

So also, the historical center has gathered Rs 12.6 million in income amid the initial six months of the current monetary year.
