Three harmed in truck crash along Prithvi Highway

Chitwan, Jan 31: A crash between two trucks at Dorechowk – 7 along the Prithvi Highway toward the beginning of today has left three people harmed.

A truck (Na 6 Kha 8127) in transit to Narayangadh from Kathmandu crashed into a truck (Na 5 Kha 8662) originating from the other way at 3:30 am, as indicated by District Police Office, Chitwan.

In the mishap, Pashupati Thapa, 40, of Bhaise VDC – 2, Makawanpur, who was driving the transport heading towards Kathmandu from Birgunj, was truly harmed. Bimal Ale Magar, 22, who was Thapa's right hand driver and Raju Lama, 28, of Dolakha, who was driving the other truck, were likewise harmed.

They were raced to Kathmandu for treatment. The police have revived the street that stayed blocked after the truck impact. The episode site is found 10 km north-east towards Kathmandu from Muglin.
