As per the US Embassy in Kathmandu, roughly $133 million of these assets are overseen by a few US offices and offices working in Nepal, including the US Agency for International Development (USAID), the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC).
Also, $27 million was given through the US Department of Defense to improve Nepal's catastrophe reaction and reinforce its capacity to take an interest in United Nations Peacekeeping Operations comprehensively, the government office said in an announcement. The US gave $41 million in support of Nepal's high need seismic tremor remaking exercises.
"This sum is well beyond the $130 million in prompt post-quake help promised and gave in 2015 to alleviation, recuperation, reproduction and readiness endeavors," the announcement included. "This help will reconstruct schools and doctor's facilities and give preparing and specialized help to development experts and mortgage holders on quake safe homes."
