Written By news on Monday, 30 January 2017 | 02:14

The Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist-Center) or CPN (M-C), is a Nepalese political gathering. It was established in 1994 and is right now drove by Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal (all the more generally known as Prachanda).

Taking after monstrous mainstream exhibitions and a delayed common war against the government, the Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist) turned into the decision party amid the Nepalese Constituent Assembly race, 2008. The CPN(M) drove a coalition government until May 4, 2009 when Prachanda surrendered over a contention with the Nepalese President, Ram Baran Yadav, in regards to Prachanda's choice to sack the leader of the Nepalese Army, Rookmangud Katawal.

The Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist-Center) was already known as the Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist) and Unified Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist). It formally bound together with the Communist Party of Nepal (Unity Center-Masal) in January 2009, bringing about its full, current name.

In the latest races, the CPN(M-C)emerged as the third biggest gathering in the Constituent Assembly winning 80 out of 575 seats.
